Fountains can sometimes be found a city or town. In olden times, they were practical necessities that were used to convey water from a distant source to the local area. Long after outliving their original function, the fountains continue to attract people.
By spouting up and flowing down, they create a connection in the water, which is essentially shapeless, and blur the temporal line between the past, present, and future.
One afternoon as we strain to hear the water, created somewhere and conveyed here by the fountain.
都市や街中に作られた噴水。遠い水源から運ばれてきた、水の終点である。
かつては日々の生活で実用されてきた役割を終えた今も、人々は噴水の周りに集まっていく。
吹き上がり流れ落ちる運動によって、形を持たない水は一連の繋がりとなり
過去、現在、未来の時間の境界はぼやけていく。
ある日の午後、何処かで生まれ、噴水へ運ばれてきた水たちの会話に耳を澄ませてみる。
